🔹 Can you rent a boat without a captain?
No.
The boats for private excursions (White Shark, Hermès, Champagne) are only available with a captain-guide, for safety and insurance reasons.
🔹 Where does the excursion begin
The departure is from your hotel (main dock).
Thank you for providing your accommodation location at the time of booking.
Cruise passengers will be expected at the Vaitape docks (Meeting point: in front of the Tourism Office, please allow about 30 to 60 minutes between the arrival of the cruise ship and the meeting time).
🔹 Will we be alone on board?
Yes, all excursions are private. However, you can invite other people with prior confirmation to adjust the equipment and pricing.
🔹What activities are included
It's up to you to choose!
Island tour, guided snorkeling with an experienced Tahitian captain, observation of rays and sharks, swimming...
Everything at your own pace and with respect for nature.
🔹How long does the activity last?
The half-day lasts 3h30.
The full day lasts 6h00.
🔹What time will we be back?
For the half-day, you will be back around 12:30 PM or 4:30 PM.
For the full day, you will be back around 3:00 PM.
🔹Can we stop at a beach?
Bora Bora has a public beach on the main island, at Matira.
On the motus (including outside the hotels), all the beaches are private.
THE BEACH offers you access to one of these motus as part of the excursions with your guide.

🔹Is the boat accessible for people with reduced mobility?
For anyone with mobility difficulties or using a wheelchair, LA PLAGE is pleased to be able to adapt its lagoon excursion offer on the Champagne boat.
This 31-foot catamaran, thanks to its custom wide "pontoon" platform, offers plenty of space and stability for your comfort.
Boarding and disembarking are greatly facilitated by the access doors.
Finally, the bath ladder is preceded by wide stair steps with handrails.
